Common questions

How do I play?

Tap Learn on the home screen and Granny will show you, or open How to play at the bottom. Move the picker, pick the lowest apple in a column, spell a word, then tap Take (under 4 letters) or Bake (4 or more).

Why can’t I play the Mild or Tart tree?

Granny’s Pick of the Day trees open in order: finish the Sweet tree (bake at least one word) to open Mild, then Mild to open Tart.

How do apple streaks work?

A day is red if you picked the Sweet tree, yellow for Sweet and Mild, green for all three (Tart too). Each streak counts days in a row at that colour or better. A jar of preserves covers one missed day.

What’s Granny’s pie quota?

Bake 12 pies (words of 4+ letters) in the Daily Arcade each day. Pies also count toward your monthly ribbon.

I deleted the app and lost my progress.

For now, progress is saved only on your device, so deleting the app removes it. Accounts that keep your progress safe are coming.

Does it cost money?

Not during testing. The shop, coins and Granny’s Club are placeholders, and nothing is charged.
